Rolling With The Deltas
Rollin’ With The Deltas, a bi-annual Sisterhood Trip, brought together the Greenville (NC) Alumnae Chapter, the Pitt County Alumnae Chapter, and sorors from surrounding chapters for an enriching journey to Charleston, South Carolina.
While in Charleston, sorors visited the International African American Museum and enjoyed a 2.5-hour guided tour of the city, which included a meaningful stop at the historic Mother Emanuel AME Church. The day concluded with a traditional Gullah-inspired meal and cultural entertainment at the Wadmalaw Island Community Center. In the spirit of service, sorors also donated personal hygiene and paper products to support the center.
Additional fellowship activities included Mocktails at Midnight, a Friday night pajama party, and a spirited Ecumenical Worship Service on Sunday morning before departing for home—leaving hearts full and sisterhood strengthened.
