Serving Pitt County with Purpose, Pride, and Sisterhood
About Pitt County Alumnae Chapter
Founded on January 11, 1997, by twenty-seven devoted sisters, the Pitt County Alumnae Chapter (PCAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. was established with a clear and enduring purpose: to serve, uplift, and empower the people of Pitt County, North Carolina.
PCAC was chartered to extend the sorority’s legacy of public service and social action throughout Pitt County, proudly serving communities including Ayden, Bethel, Belvoir, Falkland, Farmville, Fountain, Grifton, Grimesland, Pactolus, Simpson, Stokes, and Winterville. Through intentional outreach and meaningful programs, the chapter remains deeply rooted in the needs of the local community.
Since its founding, the Pitt County Alumnae Chapter has remained steadfast in its commitment to improving lives through education, health initiatives, civic engagement, and community service. Guided by the core values of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.—service, scholarship, and sisterhood—PCAC works to address pressing community challenges while creating opportunities for growth, leadership, and empowerment.
The chapter’s vision is to uplift and empower Pitt County residents by building stronger communities through targeted public service, leadership development, and advocacy.
